Jonathan Parks, FAIA alongside Daryl Bernstein from Florida Design Magazine
Solstice Planning and Architecture recently received the top prize from the 2026 Florida Design Seaglass Awards for our Skyhook residence. The prize falls under the Contemporary Home (4,000 sf and up) category - one that highlights Florida’s finest large-scale residential architecture.
Presented by Florida Design magazine, the Seaglass Awards recognize distinguished work in architecture, interior design, and landscape design across Florida’s residential design community. The program evaluates projects by category, highlighting residential design at various scales, capturing the overall architectural vision of a home to its interiors, exteriors, and carefully executed design details. Receiving this award at the top of its category highlights the exceptional design work done both inside and out by Sarasota architect Jonathan Parks, FAIA and our team at SOLSTICE, placing Skyhook among a select group of residential projects recognized for its design excellence across Florida. The SOLSTICE team not only did the architecture, but worked with the Owner on the Interior Design and was previously recognized with a Gold Award for Best Interior Design in SRQ Magazine.
