Viewing the water features and recessed planters from inside gives the impression of being at ground level—not six feet up, as building code requires. “One of the many highlights of the 1970s house that Jonathan transformed for me was the jaw dropping kitchen. The house had been a rabbit warren — a room here, a room there, here a room, there a room, all dark and enclosed. He opened up the house into gorgeous livable spaces. The new state of the art kitchen with beautiful modern cabinetry, amazing functional surfaces and eating areas, incredible lighting, make cooking and creating a joyous activity. It’s the happiest kitchen I’ve ever seen.”
