Saren Vigneault

Sustainable Design & Landscape Intern

Saren joined SOLSTICE as a Sustainable Design & Landscape Intern, bringing a background in sustainable design, permaculture, and a deep interest in creating harmony between architecture, landscape, and the natural environment. Over the past four years in Florida, she has explored how thoughtful landscape design can create beautiful, thriving ecosystems that invite families to spend more time outdoors and foster a more balanced, connected way of life. Her approach centers on food forests, edible plants, and native species to create landscapes that are functional, restorative, and visually compelling.

She studied Sustainable Design and Permaculture at Hampshire College in Massachusetts and later lived in Costa Rica, exploring agroforestry and sustainable practices. She is also a co-founder of the Permaculture Guild, where she helps curate Permaculture Design Courses that empower individuals and families to cultivate more resilient relationships with their land. Growing up in the woods of New England, she developed an early appreciation for the natural world that continues to shape her approach to design.
