Amely Wackerbauer

Architectural Student Intern

Amely has been a part of the SOLSTICE team since 2022, working primarily in a hybrid role while in school, except for a full-time gap year between studies. Originally from Massachusetts but raised in Florida, she holds an Associate of Arts degree from the State College of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan, where she will also earn her Master of Architecture in 2026. She believes that every design move should be intentional - using materials, layout, and light to change the way a space feels and works for its users. Her role at SOLSTICE spans across both architecture and marketing, allowing her to engage with projects on multiple levels. She is an active member of AIAS (University of Michigan Chapter) and has played violin for over 12 years, currently performing with the Campus Symphony Orchestra also at the University of Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys assembling intricate 3D puzzles made of various materials.
