Sustainable Design

The most sustainable buildings are those that are well-loved.

SOLSTICE Planning and Architecture is fully committed to creating architecture that is sustainable in every sense – environmentally, economically, and culturally. Rather than brashly uprooting what lies in the pathway of construction, we design with an environmental consciousness. We believe “the most energy-efficient light bulb is the one you never have to turn on” and every project is centered on creating timeless structures in which natural light, form, site orientation, and building envelope are the greatest contributors to energy efficiency.  As a result, SOLSTICE’s projects account for 25% of all LEED Platinum projects in the Sarasota area.
