Michael Panchery

Design Professional

With a focus in urban design and planning, Michael manages SOLSTICE’s planning initiatives by conducting site, zoning, and feasibility analyses and collaborating on master plans. Born in Hillsborough, New Jersey, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning & Design with a minor in Sustainability and a Master of City & Regional Planning with a concentration in Urban Design from Rutgers University. Michael initially joined the SOLSTICE team as a Planning and Urban Design Intern and now contributes daily as a full-time Design Professional. His design philosophy is rooted in forward-thinking, sustainable solutions that respect historical context while addressing the evolving needs of communities and the environment. He believes successful planning respects the past, engages the present, and prepares for the future. Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing pickleball, spending time with family and friends, and has been an avid hockey player since age six – serving as captain of the Rutgers team during his time there. He is also a member of the American Planning Association.
